姜诚，笔名龟畈闲人，古子闲人，湖北黄冈市人。自年少就酷爱书法绘画，十岁拜师学书法，（王赵帖）十七岁在家乡墙上书写毛主席语录。（时间约两年）参军后在司令部任打字员，坚持练习书法持之以恒。回地方后担任地方领导也不间断。零九年公务员退休。现在是全职书法爱好者，只可惜是暮年了。在未退休之前在书法方面大小奖得了不少。2016年6月全国首届书画精英展得了奖。同年11月经北京新华融媒提名授予年度德艺双馨时代精英及书画家名家荣誉称号，同时被聘为北京新华融媒书画院士（院长助理）本人是浠水县书协理事，黄冈市老年书画家协会会员；黄石市书协会会员；湖北省老家书画家协会会员，中国老年书画家协会会员。近年来，临习智永禅师、于右任大师草书。在书画方面在继续努力，还在路上。
