马宏远，1965年生于甘肃兰州，毕业于中国书画函授大学，资深书法教育工作者，汉字设计师。现任中国农工民主党中央画院书画家、国际书法研究会研究员、中日文化促进会常务理事、中国农工民主党甘肃省书画院副院长、甘肃九州书画家协会常务理事、白银国画院副院长、白银市青年书画协会主席、白银市书法家协会艺术顾问、白银区书法家协会副主席、宏远艺术培训学校校长、铜城书画院常务副院长、黄河石林书画院院务理事、农工党甘肃省委文化体育工作委员会委员、农工党白银市委书画组组长、白银区政协委员等职。其代表作品参加国际、全国书画大赛获得特等奖、金奖、一等奖达30余次，代表作及艺术简介分别被编被载入《国际硬笔书法家大辞典》、《中国美术书法界名人名作博览》、《当代硬笔艺术家经典》、《前进论坛》；甘肃省民主党派庆祝中国共产党成立90周年书画集《同心颂》、中国农工民主党甘肃省省委员会庆祝中国共产党成立90周年书画集《翰墨颂歌》等50余部辞书。其学术事迹被《现代社团》、《新一代》、《现代妇女》、《甘肃农工》、《白银文化》、《白银发展》等杂志刊登，《甘肃日报》、《兰州日报》、《甘肃人民之声报》、《白银广播电视报》、《白银日报》、《白银晚报》、《甘肃人民广播电台》、《甘肃电视台》等40多家媒体做了详尽报道。其书法作品作为国礼送往日本、新加坡、美国等国，受到国内外行家的好评。
中国硬笔书法协会主席张华庆曾指出：“写字教育就是爱国主义教育”，学好汉字、写好汉字已成为关系到中华文化自信、文化传承、民族凝聚力的提升乃至国家文化安全的大事。语言文字的规范运用也是我们中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的重要组成部分，对祖国统一、民族团结、社会和谐、国际文化交流都具有重要意义。
而马宏远先生的书法作品更是深刻的体现了这一点。马宏远先生生于西北甘肃兰州，在黄土高原广袤、苍茫的地域环境，西北人民直爽、豪放的性格特征影响中成长的他，在潜移默化中受到影响，造就他的书法作品不管是楷书的方正有力，行书的行云流水，抑或是草书的气势磅礴，都带有他独特的西北味道。
马宏远先生从不吝于将自己的书法作品展示他人，因为他坚信只有在互动、开放、包容的环境中，才能更好的磨练自己的技艺，只有不断的磨练技艺，才能更好的领悟中国书法的博大精深。

His calligraphic works were sent to Japan, Singapore, the United States and other countries as a national ritual, and were well received by experts at home and abroad.
