As an award-winning artist in various national and local exhibitions, Chengjie Gu has been elected top 100 most influential Chinese artists, distinguished Chinese artists, Eastern Summit Artist and received many other honors since he entered the field 40 years ago. His work “plum blossom” form the early 90’s was chosen to be presented as a gift to the Japanese colleagues by the Chinese Trade Union. He has published more than 200 pieces in several national and local newspapers, many of which are now retained by domestic and international art collectors.
