刘柏山，1964年出生于洛阳市宜阳县（移郑州市），现居北京。中国民盟盟员、政协委员、北京大学校友书画协会会员。中国美术家协会培训中心画家、1986年开封美专毕业后进入河南大学美术系中国画专业学习，1999年加入河南省美术家协会员，2012年就读于北京大学艺术学院研修国画山水、艺术美学。现为北京大学艺术学院导师工作室画家、首都美术网副理事长。

许多作品国礼馈赠外国总统、政要官员、访华代表团、出访代表团和四十五个国家驻华使馆和中国驻外使馆等。多次应邀出访国外进行文化艺术交流。

研究古法画理，几十年如一日，笔耕不辍。取法古人，潜心观摩宋元诸家格律，石涛，龚贤笔意。关注当代、深入生活，注重写生，浓彩水墨，相得益彰，力求高华与豪放完美的统一，自然注入真、纯、厚、朴、静、追求一种祥和、典雅、浑茫、厚重的大美气息，强调笔墨意趣去表现自然的本质，追求艺术真善美。

艺术成就：

多次参加中国美术家协会、河南省美术家协会主办的国画展览，其中山水系列《炎黄二帝》、《青山高卧》、花鸟系列《花王听雨声》、《三色报春》、《清在骨》等作品曾在中国美术家协会主办的“泰山之尊”全国山水画展、“亚亨杯”、“新人新作展”、“第八届全国山水画展”、“第八届海峡两岸全国画展”、以及“香江杯”、“跨世纪国画展”、“农村新貌”、“春都杯”、“全国花鸟画展”等国展、省展中获奖或入选。

作品及理论成果入编《北京大学艺术教学文献》（北京大学艺术学院）、《新中国国礼艺术大师》（外交部）、《艺术中国》（文化部）、《翰墨精品集》（中国国家画院）、《丹青画史》（中国文联出版社）、《现代绘画》（人民美术出版社）、《艺术百年》（四川美术出版社）、《当代画史》（四川美术出版社）、《中国美术年鉴》（中国文史出版社）、《盛世国风》（天津美院主办）、等权威艺术文献。

Liu Baishan was born in 1964 in Yiyang County of Luoyang city (moved Zhengzhou city), and now lives in Beijing.
