王芳，笔名小草，一九五九年生，黑龙江省齐齐哈尔市人，从幼年痴迷美术，从小学五年级考入齐齐哈尔市二十九中艺术学校，开始了美术专业学习，深受老师厚爱、赏识，从小学至高中，美术作品参赛，次次获得优秀奖，尤其擅长仕女工笔绘画，堪称一绝，毕业后，在齐齐哈尔市工艺美术厂工作，美术作品出口许多国家，其中有玻璃画（仕女）、大绒画、素描纸烙（仕女）、蛋壳烙画（仕女）、葫芦烙画（仕女）、彩墨画（仕女）、绢画（仕女）、通草画，多次参加黑龙江省美术展览，多次获得优秀奖，退休后，加入中国书画院，任职一级美术师，2017年参加齐齐哈尔市冬雪美术展览，作品<踏雪>获得优秀奖，同年十月参加中澳双城<以作品说话>美术作品获得优秀奖。
