陶丽华，女，祖籍湖南，现居江西莲花。生于刺绣世家，自幼受家庭熏陶，尤善女红。编织钩剪，无一不通。如今，拜师求艺，学习画理。不分寒暑，专攻刺绣。然绣之功业，乃国之精粹也。绣理各异，相生相宜；百家争鸣，各有千秋。作为绣娘，愿静心屏息，苦心研习。无关国别南北，也不谈流派，惟冀能博釆诸家之长。
陶绣，缘于喜好，而今传承祖艺。荏苒岁月，浸淫经年，终幸得灌顶豁然，始有小成。举凡选稿、上绷、配色、劈线都有小得。银针穿梭，指上演绎；乾坤在握，不入俗流；更兼身心合一，灵魂升华，妙处不可胜言；敷陈唐诗宋画，描摹山水田园，风物尽在其中矣；刺绣之于丹青，寓意巧思一如也；题材之高雅，创意之精妙，非兰心惠质，巧手不能为之。

陶绣摹古今名人书画,劈丝配色,别有秘传,故能点染成文。所绣山水人物花鸟,无不精妙,盖所谓画绣也。其针法，综合前人已成绣法，更加以变化而运用之，可谓集针法之大成。用线主要用平线，有时亦用捻线，丝细如发，针脚平整，而所用色线种类之多，同时又使用中间色线，借色与补色，绣绘并用，力求逼真原稿。又视图案所需，可随意取材，不拘成法，诸多材质均可入绣别创新意，故有极其巧妙精微之绣艺。
