燕蕾，字阳天。现为国家一级美术师，中国美协会员，中国青年书画家协会理事，南京六朝书画院高级画师，中原书画院客座教授。生于江苏沛县书香世家。父亲燕宇是位著名画家，授徒有徐培晨、贾理新。受其影响学习中国画，后入学院学习多年，坚持中国画的创作，尤其擅长写意山水和花鸟。作品及个人自传在《合肥晚报》、《大众日报》、《新华日报》、《徐州日报》、《齐鲁晚报》、《现代快报》、《王羲之书画报》等各家报刊有专题报道。近年来作品参加国内外有关美展，其中作品获优秀奖、佳作奖和第一名。
1996年4月，“桂陵杯”国际书法美术大展赛，绘画《清猿啸月》在新加坡展区获奖二等奖。
2004年，作品《松韵》在全国“华腾杯”美展中获金奖。
2005年，作品《古柏神游》在全国“复生杯”美展中获佳作奖。
2006年，《梅兰竹菊》在四条屏获第二届全国“梅兰竹菊福禄寿喜”国画组金奖。
2007年，《百猴图》获全国美协、文化部主办的金鼎杯书法美术大赛国画组金奖。同年7月庆祝香港回归十周年书画大赛中，作品《月圆神州》入编《庆祝香港回归十周年书画名家精品大典》并被组委会收藏。同年向徐州市“红十字会”捐赠国画十幅，荣获“爱心青年画家”的称号。

燕舞丹青绽蓓蕾----画家燕蕾其人其画

燕蕾是我的师弟，他出生于书香门第，自幼受到祖父在文学上和父亲燕宇在中国书画艺术上的启蒙，遂于此道结缘，显示出其不凡的才华。近年来其作品参赛参展，屡屡捧得金奖。燕蕾的书画艺术，得到了艺术界同仁们的青睐和藏家们的关注，其艺术如春蓓蕾，在中国画艺术院地上绽放开来，明丽喣然，馨香远播。
燕蕾弟天资聪颖对中国画有很强的领悟力。对传统，他一方面静气凝神的去钻研，以最大的勇气打进去；另一方面，又能突破樊篱，更有惊人的勇气打出来，化古意为今韵，实在难能可贵。在他的作品中蕴有深厚的传统功底又不乏时代气息，神韵天成给人以美的享受。不管是翱翔于蓝天的我和平鸽、形影不离的鸳鸯、杨柳间剪春的飞燕，抑或墨韵翻滚的农家猪体态矫健的小鹿、憨态的国宝大熊猫、守夜的义犬。以及山林石泉间聚栖嬉戏的猴群、乡村庭院间的鸡公鸡婆及雏鸡、溪流浅岸的鸭子，还是凌寒朵朵开向阳盛开的红梅、香远益清的荷花，燕蕾以其奔放的情怀的娴熟的笔墨，将其活灵活现的一一现于笔下，跃然纸上，赋予了大自然以勃勃生机和不尽的笔情墨趣，令人耳目一新。
燕蕾师弟的父亲燕宇先生，是我上世纪六十年代中叶的启蒙老师。燕老师在沛县的老庭院里，有满架的葡萄、香炉瓜、山里红，还有翠竹、硕大的芭蕉叶、通红的柿子等等。不出门就能找到入画素材，目击手追、心有所得，即兴泼墨好不痛快。每忆及此，我与理新同学、燕蕾师弟，都心中荡起涟漪丝丝，久久不能平静。
我比燕蕾师弟长二十岁，他小时候特别逗人喜爱，眼睛炯炯有神，笑的天真灿烂。我长将其高高举过头顶，逗他笑个不停。稍长他学了画，老师常以我的成材经历和治学精神激励燕蕾，期望他有所作为，有所建树。燕蕾师弟不辱父望。勤学苦练。寒暑不辍。很快便再艺术上展露头角。每至放假之时，我都到燕老师家探望，在他的家书房墙上挂上宣纸作画，与贾理新同学和燕蕾师弟共同切磋，共同提高。燕老师在一旁看我们合作，不时的给予指导。
记得十多年前一位院长看了燕蕾师弟的一批画，但见其画未见其人。当时给予很高的评价，认为其作品是五六十的画家画的，否则达不到这种境界。自古英雄出少年。其实那时候他才二十来岁的毛头小伙子，居然少年老成，靠的是勤奋加天资，年少思深，艺术上达到了一定的高度，可见其功力过人，且不落凡丘。
燕蕾弟现在四十来岁，已经具备了向艺术殿堂入登的条件，相信他会加倍的努力，“用志不纷、乃凝于神”，传统陈酒蕴陈酿，艺术蓓蕾绽新花。待到秋来九月八的收获季节，那景象必将硕果累累，丰盈喜人，这是我及同道所期待的。
