余金玉，字子珠，斋号墨玉轩。1963年1月出生于景德镇，祖籍江西都昌，大学文化。现为中国书画院院士，北京华夏兰亭书画院客座教授，澳洲悉尼书画网特邀艺术家，《中国梦•文化中国万里行》组委会副秘书长。系文化部艺术发展中心中国书画院、中国书画界联合会、中国陶瓷艺术文化发展中心会员，江西省工艺美术学会会员，江西省国防文化陶瓷艺术书画院常务理事、院士，景德镇市珠山书画院院士、高级陶瓷书画师。
自幼喜爱书法，勤勉好学，中学时就获学校书画比赛一等奖，全市大中小学生书画表演赛二等奖。几十年笔耕不辍，砥砺前行。近年来，得名师指点，遍临历代名家书帖，融会贯通，自成风格，擅长榜书，兼精行、草、隶、篆。
2016年6月，榜书楹联作品获江西省国家公务员美术书法作品展书法类优秀奖。8月，瓷板书法作品经中国陶瓷艺术文化发展中心专家评审委员会评为特别金奖。2017年7月，瓷板书法作品获江西省工艺美术学会主办的“全国陶瓷和书画艺术作品联展”特别金奖。12月，获2017年全国诗书画家创作年会先进人物荣誉。2018年7月，获“大美中国---第三届兰亭微展”优秀奖；2018年“翰墨风华”全国诗书画大展赛一等奖；同时获“华夏品牌名家榜”首批上榜书法家荣誉。8月，聘为北京华夏兰亭书画院客座教授；9月，参加文艺大赛网评选活动，获“新时代人民艺术家”称号。
