Jin Shangyi, born in 1934, Henan Jiaozuo. He graduated from the painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1953. He graduated from the Maximov Oil Painting Training Course in 1957 and remained in the printmaking department to teach sketching. He was transferred to the First Studio of the Oil Painting Department in 1962. The former president of the Central Academy of fine arts. He is now a doctoral advisor, professor, chairman of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, vice chairman of the Chinese Federation of Fine Arts, Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, 10th honorary member of the Chinese Literature and Art Federation, and honorary doctor of the Macao University of Science and Technology.

Many works have won awards both at home and abroad, and have been collected by Chinese art museums and other institutions and individuals.

靳尚谊，1934年生，河南焦作人。1953年毕业于中央美院绘画系。1957年结业于马克西莫夫油画训练班，并留校在版画系教授素描课；1962年调入油画系第一画室任教。原中央美院院长。现为中央美院博士生导师、教授、中国美协主席、中国文联副主席、全国政协常委，中国文学艺术界联合会第十届荣誉委员  ，澳门科技大学荣誉博士 。
作品多次获得国内外大奖，并被中国美术馆等机构和个人收藏。
