Leng Jun was born in Sichuan in 1963. He graduated from the Art Department of Hankou branch of Wuhan Normal University in 1984. He is currently the vice president of Wuhan Academy of painting and a national first class artist. In the afternoon of September 22, 2007, the Eighth Congress of the Hubei Provincial Federation of Literature and Art was elected vice-chairman of the Federation.
His works have participated in many major exhibitions at home and abroad, won several national art exhibition awards, renowned at home and abroad, is a very influential young artist in the mainland in recent years.
冷军，1963年生于四川。1984年毕业于武汉师范学院汉口分院艺术系。现任武汉画院副院长，国家一级美术师。在2007年9月22日下午闭幕的湖北省文学艺术界联合会第八次代表大会，冷军当选为省文联副主席。
其作品多次参加国内外大展，数次获全国美展大奖，声名海内外，是近年来大陆非常有影响的青年美术家。
