黎镇熏，原名黎镇芬，字颕祥，1949年出生于广东南海九江鱼蚕之乡。自幼擅摸虾捉鱼，更爱绘画。少时喜临线描人物，也画山水花鸟 ，无师自通。后得广州美院教授悉心指导，集中精力专攻鱼水，凭着对丹青艺术的执着追求，其创作技法融汇中西，逐渐形成了自己独特的个人风格。自80年代起，作品多次入选国家，省港澳地区和东南亚美展，并多次获奖。广东画报在八十年代曾以《沃土育丹青》作专题采访报导，是当地较有名气的青年农民画家。九十年代移居香港，是香港美协会员，现定居新加坡，是新加坡美协会员。所作鱼水题材作品清新脱俗，寓意吉祥而达雅俗共赏，深受海内外藏家欢迎。2017年6月荣获当代最具实力艺术家称号。
