伍谟文，1954年出生于江西九江市人，自幼酷爱书画艺术，从1971入学至今没有间断学习书画艺术。现任景德镇当代陶瓷书画艺术研究院院长，景德镇市高级陶瓷艺术研究院院长，艺术职称：中国书法家协会会员，中国一级美术师，中国高级一级技术师，中国国家工艺美术大师。作品在国内外市场得到收藏家家和爱好和收藏。兼任九江市庐山五老峰书画艺术研究院院长，广州美术学院客座教授，黄山美术学院客座教授，等等⋯⋯作品被山东省博物馆收藏，浙江省博物馆收藏，福建省博物馆收藏。
