祖广芹，女，字古根，号品墨，生于1947年12月，退休教师。曾在大庆老年大学，三亚老年大学，海南保亭老年大学就读。从师于著名书画家刘伯良老师，学习其书法和大写意国画。是中国书画协会会员，是大庆书画协会会员，是大庆民间艺术家协会会员，是大庆莫名谷书画院会员。2017年，在海南省乐东县的春节联欢会上，现场作画，得到大家的一致好评。其作品《大公鸡》和《荷花》分别获得三亚老年大学和保亭文联举办的书画比赛二等奖。梅花香自苦寒来，她的一幅幅作品，是刻苦努力，勤奋好学，不断进步的真实写照。
