美国华裔卢立元设计师画家简历:
 
卢立元（英文名Lee Rue), 男, 1962年10月生于苏州, 一岁随父到无锡。 1987年毕业于无锡轻工业学院（现江南大学）工业设计系, 1987-1992年曾在无锡菊花集团公司设计部主持工业产品外型和内部结构设计, 其创新设计产品出口欧洲30万部。

1990年4月在《设计》杂志上著有“更多地创造——在企业中从事设计”。

1992年两次获美国建筑照明工程师协会颁发的奖学金, 并赴美就读于旧金山艺术大学, 由于其设计能力优异。1994年被 THE ELWYN GEE GROUP 建筑照明设计公司聘为设计师, 从事大型综合性娱乐场、博场、宾馆和商场的灯光照明设计。

1998年获旧金山艺术大学室内建筑设计专业硕士学位。

1992年起卢立元先生一直是美国灯光照明工程师协会会员, 并加盟于美国建筑联合会。

卢立元先生的油画融合了西画浪漫的写实，光线和色彩以及东方中国艺术的写意和笔触。目前为美国油画家协会和印象派画家协会正式会员。

从小受父亲卢英芬的熏陶和伯父卢是 (南师大著名画家, 张大千同事, 吴冠中同学) 影响, 卢立元先生具有坚实的绘画基础, 在大学期间, 常在美术文学期刊上出版绘画及插图, 个人作品也在中国和美国国内及大学画廊内多处陈列展出。

卢立元先生曾在加州数所著名建筑设计、室内设计、灯光设计公司从事设计工作, 2000年在北加州建立英莱设计和技术公司（InteLite Design and Technology）, 主持建筑室内外灯光照明设计。

2003年至2011间曾在旧金山艺术大学, 加州大学柏克莱分校, 以及服装和商业设计学院教授灯光和照明, 艺术设计等学科。

目前卢立元先生兼任美国北加州洛肯技术公司 ( Rocken Tech Products, Inc ) 董事长, 该公司与中国有着密切的合作关系。

卢立元先生主要设计的几十项技术成果 - 从大型结构建筑到高级民用住宅。

After pursued a MFA degree in Interior Architecture 
and Design from Academy of Art University, San 
Francisco in 1998, Lee Rue has been working on 
his art and designs ever since. He dreamed to be 
an artist as a little boy with his family tradition. 
Although he spent most of his time works on 
lighting design and consulting, his passion of oil 
paintings and other art works never faded.

With a solid background in architectural lighting design and art he 
works intelligently applying the light and color combined with some 
mythical imaginations into his art.

Mr. Rue started his career as a lighting designer after gaining 
experience with noted Bay Area designers and companies and 
became a member of Illuminating Engineering Society of North 
America since 1992 and later joined associate member of AIA. 
Through the use of extensive engineering and artistic lighting 
design expertise, creative custom lumiaire design skills and a wide 
range of lighting products, his projects reflected and enhanced the 
attractiveness of the space to their ultimate values of architecture 
inside and out. He received Thunen Scholarships and the 
Recognition of Achievements from IESNA in the lighting industry. He 
also taught many years of art, design and lighting techniques in 
FIDM, San Francisco campus, Academy of Art University and UC 
Berkeley Extension.

Lee Rue's figurative oil paintings marry realistic basics with 
impressionist's colors and strokes with the bold use of color and 
light. Furthermore Lee Rue's paintings also include a thin touch of 
fine oriental elements that makes his style in a defined unique way.
 
Lee Rue is the current associate members of Oil Painters of 
America and American Impressionist Society
